About Me

Welcome, my name is Raina Jardin and I am an experienced counsellor with a Masters qualification in Clinical Psychology and over 14 years of counselling experience. My aim is to provide an individualised, holistic, empathic and caring service that is both personal and highly professional. I work primarily within a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy framework, however, I also use other strategies depending on your needs, such as Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Schema Therapy.

What to Expect

Many people feel uncomfortable seeing a psychologist for the first time. This discomfort often passes by the end of the first one or two sessions. Prior to meeting with a psychologist it’s useful to gain some information about them and about what to expect when you meet with them, this may assist in reducing your discomfort.
